Heather Caldwell, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, now residing in the Midwest, has been driven by a passion for acting since the tender age of five. Her journey in the world of acting commenced as early as the third grade, when she took on the iconic role of Helen Keller in a classroom play. This initial foray into the performing arts marked the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of her dreams.
Heather's thirst for knowledge and skill led her to study acting at the prestigious Mt. Lebanon Center for the Arts, where she honed her craft and laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Her dedication to her craft continued throughout her high school and college years, as she immersed herself in the world of acting and dance.
Her academic pursuits took her to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a degree in Deaf Education. This unique educational background proved to be a valuable asset, as it enabled her to land her first SAG commercial and later secure a role in the critically acclaimed Jeff Nichols Indie film "Take Shelter". Her proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) was instrumental in securing these opportunities, and she has since become a talented and versatile actress.
Heather's most recent endeavor was a role in the horror movie "Evil Takes Root", where she showcased her impressive acting skills and, in a unique twist, also demonstrated her fluency in ASL.
