Gerard's life journey began in St. Louis, Missouri, where he spent his formative years before making the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles in the late 1990s. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the pursuit of his acting dreams, steadfastly working towards achieving his goals in television and film.
Some of the most notable highlights of his career include his uncredited yet memorable role in the 2003 epic film, Master & Commander: The Far Side Of The World. This project, which was shot at the renowned Fox Studios Baja, spanned an impressive five months and saw Gerard play the pivotal role of the Sergeant of the Royal Marines. The experience was all the more enriching due to the opportunity to observe the exceptional work ethic of Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany throughout the entire shoot. Gerard has carried the words of Russell, who praised him as "a consummate professional," with him ever since.
Gerard's early career also saw him land the role of Fingers The Pirate in the beloved animated film, Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie. More recently, he took on the emotionally charged role of a father who has lost his son to suicide and is desperate to bring him back to life through artificial intelligence in the film, Cade.
When not honing his craft, Gerard is an avid enthusiast of traditional rock climbing and elevation backpacking, activities that bring him immense joy and a sense of adventure.
