Flood Reed is a multifaceted performer who has gained widespread recognition for his work in the circus, as well as his appearances in children's nightmares and LSD-induced hallucinations. Prior to his controversial lifetime ban from competition during the 1998 Olympic trials, Reed was an amateur biathlete, and he later went on to run a short-lived business venture called "Glocks and Socks" before becoming a successful bicep model under the guidance of Dr. Franco Columbo.
Reed's extensive career has also included hosting the underground Central American game show "Gay! Cop! Mustache!" and working alongside notable actors such as Gary Busey and Jessica Alba. As a filmmaker, Reed was a Top 50 Director finalist during Season 2 of HBO's "Project Greenlight" and won awards for his low-budget indie film "Mutual Admiration Society."
In recent years, Reed has continued to expand his creative horizons, serving as the touring documentarian and Master of Ceremonies for the Chernobyl Meltdown Circus Sideshow. He has also directed projects produced by notable figures such as Drew Barrymore, Tyrese Gibson, Mark Brown, and Wes Borland, and has several original screenplays in development for 2010 and beyond.
As a performer and artist, Reed has received training from esteemed instructors such as Gerry Speca, who is also Matt Damon's mentor, and has worked alongside actors Chris Pine and Simon Helberg at the Antaeus Theatre Company in North Hollywood, California.
