Evgeniy Tkachuk, a talented individual, entered the world on July 23, 1984, in the vibrant city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. As a young boy, his family relocated to Syzran, Samarskaya region, Russia, when he was just ten years old. His father, an accomplished actor, was a part of the Drama theatre of Syzran, while his mother, a highly educated physician, held a PhD in medical sciences. From a very early age, Evgeniy found himself drawn to the world of theatre, spending an abundance of time backstage, watching performances with great enthusiasm.
In tandem with his academic pursuits in high school, Evgeniy took on numerous leading roles in the Drama theatre of Syzran, honing his skills and building his confidence. In 2002, after completing his high school education, Evgeniy made the bold decision to relocate to Moscow, where he enrolled in the prestigious Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS),specifically the Department of Directing of the Dramatic Theatre, under the guidance of renowned director O. Kudrjashov. He successfully graduated in 2006, earning himself a degree from the IV course.
During his time at the Academy, Evgeniy was invited to take on the role of Hippolytus/Boy in the production "Phaedra, Golden Spike" at the Theatre of Nations (Moscow),under the direction of A. Zholdak. This performance earned him the prestigious Prize of the MK "For the Best Debut". Upon graduating from the Academy in 2006, Evgeniy Tkachuk was awarded the Prize, named after the People's Artist of USSR Mikhail Tsarev "For the successful comprehension of the Actor's profession".
