Biography

Eric J. Adams is a multi-talented individual, boasting a diverse array of skills that span the realms of screenwriting, producing, and authorship. He has made a significant impact in the film industry, co-producing and writing the script for the feature film "Supremacy", which boasts an impressive cast featuring Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali, Danny Glover, Anson Mount, and Joe Anderson.

With Harold Ramis serving as Executive Producer, Eric co-wrote and produced "Archie's Final Project", also known as "My Suicide", which has garnered an impressive 21 major international film festival awards, including the prestigious Crystal Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Eric's production credits also include "Rickshaw Girl", the first-ever US-Bangladeshi co-production, directed by acclaimed South Asian Director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. In addition, he wrote and directed the documentary "To Save A Child", which tackles the sensitive topic of teen suicide, and features a narration by the talented Mariel Hemingway.

As the founder of Sleeperwave Films, Eric leverages his unique background to develop film projects that explore contemporary social issues with commercial potential. His efforts have been recognized with a Djerassi Screenwriting Fellowship finalist designation by the San Francisco Film Society.

Beyond his work in film, Eric is also a published author, having penned several books, including "Cosmic Fever" (Black Rose),and the suspense/thrillers "Loss Of Innocence" (Avon Books) and "Plot Twist" (St. Martin's Press). As a journalist, he has contributed to numerous national and regional periodicals, including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Wired, and Salon.

Eric's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Film Studies from Sonoma State University, as well as a Film and Television Industry Essentials Certificate from NYU/Tisch. He is also a member of the board of directors for the non-profit International Center for Rights and Justice. When not engaged in his professional pursuits, Eric teaches writing at colleges, conferences, and seminars nationwide.
