Dan Wicksman, a talented writer and actor, pursued his education at Oxford and the Northern Film School in Leeds, where he had the privilege of being mentored by esteemed USC screenwriting professors.
It was during his time at film school that Dan crossed paths with his future wife and writing partner, Nuria Wicksman. Since then, the couple has been collaborating on various projects, crafting compelling stories for film and television companies across the globe, with their work featured in over fifteen countries, including the BBC, Aardman Animations, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, and Universal.
Throughout their career, the Wicksmans have had the opportunity to work on renowned global brands, such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Thomas the Tank Engine. Their recent credits include the feature-length animated movie "Curious George: Royal Monkey" for Universal and serving as Head Writers on Season 5 of Pocoyo.
In addition to his writing endeavors, Dan has also ventured into acting, enjoying a variety of fun roles, including appearances in the Netflix comedy special "Bash Brothers" alongside Andy Samberg and The Lonely Island, as well as feature films "Wages of Sin" and "Hollywood Fringe".
