Dan Cadan is an award-winning writer and director who has collaborated with a variety of renowned professionals in the entertainment industry.
He spent over a decade working with Guy Ritchie, starting as a production assistant on Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and eventually becoming a personal assistant and writer on several projects, including Snatch and RocknRolla.
Dan has also worked with Madonna on numerous projects, including tour documentaries, commercials, and music videos, as well as writing the liner notes for her album Greatest Hits Vol. 2. He even wrote a scene for her in the Bond film Die Another Day.
In addition to his work with Madonna, Dan has directed music videos for artists such as Mumford and Sons, Kasabian, and Rick Astley, as well as commercials for brands like Wonderbra, H&M, and Aston Martin.
Dan's short film, The Devil's Wedding, was an official selection at 15 film festivals and won five awards, including Best International Short at the Cleveland International Film Festival. He is currently reworking the screenplay into a feature film.
Dan has also adapted novels for James Patterson and Attica Locke and wrote his first feature film, Walk Like A Panther, which was produced and directed by him. The film features an ensemble cast, including Stephen Graham, Dave Johns, and Julian Sands.
He collaborated with Goldie to write a six-part drama, Sine Tempore, which is a modern-day, Shakespearean tragedy. Dan is also attached to direct a biopic about Jonny Kennedy, the subject of the Emmy-winning documentary The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off.
Dan has written an episode of the BBC series Boiling Point and rewrote all 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in rhyme for a project that features Dame Judi Dench, Olivia Colman, and other celebrities.
Dan continues to develop his own projects for film and television.
