Chris DiCesare's life was forever changed in 1985 when a series of terrifying events unfolded in and around his dorm room, C2D1, at the State University of New York at Geneseo campus.
From early February to late April of that year, he and his college friends were subjected to a haunting that would later become known as 'The C2D1 Haunting'.
During this period, they experienced a range of paranormal activity, including apparitions, disembodied voices, moving objects, and frightening physical attacks.
Chris, who became the focal point of the haunting, and several of his classmates, were eventually forced to suppress the extreme ordeal, which eventually transitioned into an urban legend.
For almost a quarter of a century, Chris avoided speaking publicly about his experience, but in 2009, he agreed to share his story with the "Please, talk with me..." film project, which recreated the 1985 events surrounding the infamous 'C2D1 ghost' photograph.
Chris's account was featured on the SyFy channel's show "School Spirits" in 2012, and he premiered his memoir, Surviving Evidence, which became an Amazon best seller, offering a firsthand account of the haunting from the person who found himself at its center and survived it.
As an accomplished lecturer, Chris has also appeared on Coast to Coast AM and has won numerous awards for his work, including Best Feature and Best Director.
