Bailey Stender's life has been deeply intertwined with acting, a passion that began at the tender age of six in Duluth, Minnesota, where she started performing in musical theater. This early start continued throughout her childhood and adolescence, eventually transitioning to television and film during her college years at Belmont University in Nashville.
Growing up, Bailey's love for acting was largely inspired by family time spent watching sitcoms. The laughter and bonding that came with these shared experiences solidified her desire to use her talents to inspire and make others laugh. Over the course of a dozen years, Bailey honed her skills on stage and screen, using her art to escape the darkness of depression and bring joy to her audiences.
It was during her time at Belmont University, where she was studying musical theater, that Bailey made the transition to screen roles with global reach. She began to flex her comedic muscles, appearing in Disney's Bunk'd in 2021 and Paramount+'s iCarly in 2021-2023. In addition to her acting work, Bailey also took on the role of associate producer for the 2020 mockumentary short film "Fantasy Pony!" produced by Red Sage Productions.
In 2023, Bailey stepped into a new role as Phoebe, a mean girl, in the Paramount+ series "Wolf Pack." This character allowed her to tap into the grounded and powerful performances of Sarah Michelle Gellar, an inspiration to her.
Looking to the future, Bailey hopes to continue producing films that inspire, uplift, and leave audiences in stitches. She also hopes to use her platform to lead others out of darkness and into the light, both within and outside of her career in entertainment. Openly sharing her personal journey from coping with depression to embracing joy and loving life, Bailey is a beacon of hope for those struggling.
In addition to her acting and producing pursuits, Bailey is a spiritual person who practices meditation and journaling. She is deeply connected to her environment, often finding solace in gratitude walks, rollerblading, and time spent with friends. Bailey is also an advocate for body positivity, feminism, and equality, pledging to amplify the voices of those who need and deserve to be heard as her platform grows.
Just as TV and film helped Bailey find her way out of dark places, she hopes to use her platform to inspire others to get involved in social justice and activism, while also bringing laughter and joy to those around her.
