Atif R. Lanier, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was born with a dream of becoming a veterinarian, with aspirations of one day owning his own zoo. After completing two internships at the renowned Philadelphia Zoo, he began to question his career path, feeling uncertain about his future.
During this period of self-discovery, Lanier found solace in attending church services during the week, where he stumbled upon a posting for actors to participate in the church's annual Christmas play. With little expectation, he auditioned and was thrilled to land a part, subsequently being cast as the lead. This experience sparked a newfound passion for acting, and Lanier soon found himself writing plays and screenplays inspired by his life.
From this creative spark, HarMageddo Entertainment was born, marking the beginning of Lanier's illustrious career as a playwright, screenwriter, and actor. Since then, he has penned numerous plays, including "7 Days til Justice," "If it Ain't Got that Swing," and "Escape From Capture." Additionally, he co-wrote the award-winning comedic short "The Negro Zone" and "He Got Billz," solidifying his reputation as a talented and innovative storyteller.
With his future bright and his creativity unbridled, Lanier's potential seems limitless, as he continues to push the boundaries of his craft and inspire audiences with his unique perspective and captivating storytelling.
