Anthony DiBlasi's journey in the film industry began with his graduation from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Following his move to Los Angeles, he became a protégé of renowned filmmaker and novelist Clive Barker, with whom he partnered in Barker's production company, Midnight Picture Show, for nearly a decade.
During his tenure at Midnight Picture Show, DiBlasi held key executive and producer roles on several notable films, including the 2008 horror movie "Midnight Meat Train" and the 2009 film "Book of Blood". He also made his directorial debut with the psychological thriller "Dread", which was released theatrically in January 2010 and went on to win the Best Independent Feature award at the 2010 Spike Scream Awards.
DiBlasi's subsequent directorial efforts include the critically acclaimed supernatural horror film "Last Shift", released by Magnolia Pictures in 2015, and the psychological thriller "Extremity", based on Extreme Haunts, which was released by Epic Pictures in 2018.
In his personal life, DiBlasi is married to actress Natalie Victoria and enjoys his free time by passing out sunglasses with the legendary professional wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper. He is represented by Sheryl Petersen, an agent at the Agency for the Performing Arts (APA).
