Anne Hegerty, a renowned television quiz show presenter in the United Kingdom, hails from London but made the transition to Manchester in the 1980s, where she established herself as a prominent magazine writer and subsequently, a magazine editor. As her career progressed, she also held the position of Editor at a prominent UK publishing house, a role she relinquished upon being invited to join the cast of the newly launched TV quiz show series, 'The Chase'.
