Alexander Jeffery, a talented individual, hails from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but his upbringing took place in El Dorado, Arkansas, where he developed a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
He currently resides in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he co-owns the production company Bespoke Works LLC with his close friend and collaborator, Paul Petersen.
Alexander's academic background is impressive, having received a double major in Theatre Performance and Film & New Media from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2011.
Following his graduation, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for acting and filmmaking, but soon realized that the city wasn't the right fit for him.
He then returned to the south, where he began creating low-budget, independent films with his friends, a decision that would ultimately shape his career.
His feature film, A Chance Encounter, was released in October 2022, both in theaters and on-demand, after winning the audience choice award at the Heartland Film Festival in 2020.
In 2015, his short film The Bespoke Tailoring of Mister Bellamy won the $50,000 Grand Prize at the Louisiana Film Prize, earning praise from MTV, who called it "an acutely relevant, achingly human film."
Alexander's latest feature, Days of Daisy, has been picked up for distribution by Good Deed Entertainment, and his first feature-length documentary, You Have No Idea, won the Audience Choice award for Best Southern Feature at the Oscar-qualifying Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival in 2022.
As someone who comes from a long line of educators, Alexander is passionate about mentoring film and acting students of all ages and experience, and he continues to be a life-long student of the world, inspired by his grandfather's love of travel and exploration.
