A police detective, Tom, uncovers a conspiracy involving devil worship and murder when his brother-in-law tries to kill his sister. After a car accident, Tom wakes up to find that years have passed and people are wearing the mark of 666, with those without it being killed. The world is now controlled by Franco Macalousso, who is trying to unite humanity like in the Tower of Babel. Christians, known as "Haters," are hiding and broadcasting messages to expose the Antichrist as the Messiah, but their leader is arrested.
