Patrick Gallagher

Patrick Gallagher was born in the city of New Westminster, located in the province of British Columbia, Canada, and spent his formative years in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. He is of dual heritage, boasting Irish and Chinese ancestry. Gallagher earned his degree from the esteemed National Theatre School of Canada in the year 1993. He embarked on his professional journey in Toronto, where he worked extensively in the theater, film, and television industries. In the year 2003, he delivered a standout performance as Awkward Davies in Peter Weir's critically acclaimed and Oscar-nominated film, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
