In a gritty 1970s Los Angeles, two unlikely private investigators collaborate to unravel a complex case, following a trail of clues to find a missing girl and expose the sinister forces behind the death of a renowned porn star.

In 1977 Los Angeles, single father and PI Holland March is hired to investigate a famous porn star's apparent suicide. His search leads him to a young girl named Amelia, but things take a turn when she vanishes and he realizes he's not the only one searching for her.
