Charles Green's acting career began at the tender age of 12 in the local theaters of Lake Charles, Louisiana, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion.
He went on to pursue higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from McNeese State University, followed by a Master of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee, and culminating in a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Orleans.
As a member of UNO's Acting Company, Green was nominated for an Irene Ryan Award for his outstanding performance as Tom in the classic play Glass Menagerie.
After completing his studies, Green made the move to Hollywood, where he honed his craft in both on-camera and local Equity-Waiver theater productions.
However, in 1990, he decided to put his TV and film career on hold to focus on his rapidly growing career in health care public relations, which would ultimately earn him numerous awards and recognition.
In 1999, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) brought Green to Atlanta, Georgia to spearhead the creation of national public health campaigns, a role that would span nearly two decades.
Fast forward to 2013, when Green made the bold decision to restart his TV and film career, landing a pivotal one-on-one scene opposite the legendary Anthony Hopkins in the film Kidnapping Mr. Heineken.
In 2017, Green left the CDC to pursue his passion for acting full-time, diving headfirst into a wide range of projects, including TV, film, commercial, and stage work.
