The Death & Life of John F. Donovan

Audrey Newhouse, a political journalist, is assigned to interview Rupert Turner about his book about his correspondence with the late actor John F. Donovan, whom he never met. The correspondence began when Rupert was a preteen and John was an established TV star. Despite never meeting, they exchanged letters for years, with John's stories revealing parallels between their lives. Rupert tries to convince Audrey of the book's importance, not only for himself but for others who may read it.
