Ben Schnetzer's life began in New York, where he was born to a family of actors, his parents being Stephen Schnetzer and Nancy Snyder. As a teenager, he started his acting career by appearing in the TV drama Happy Town in 2010. However, Ben felt that he needed to give acting a more serious attempt, and thus, he made the bold decision to relocate to London in 2010 to pursue his passion for drama at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
