In the sequel to the TV series, a group of 250,000 aliens, known as the Newcomers, have established a new home in California alongside humans. However, most of the Newcomers were once slaves, and the Overseers are now seeking to reclaim them. Ahpossno, a representative of the Overseers, is sent to Earth to track down the escaped slaves and return them to their ship.
