Eric Pierpoint is a renowned actor, recognized for his versatility and range in a wide variety of film and television projects. He is perhaps most notable for his starring roles in the Alien Nation television series, which debuted in 1989, as well as his appearances in notable films such as Liar Liar, The World's Fastest Indian, Forever Young, Holes, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Sex Tax: Based on a True Story.
In addition to his work in film, Pierpoint has also had a successful career in television, with notable roles in series such as Hot Pursuit, Fame, Farmed and Dangerous, and recurrences on Parks and Recreation, Big Love, Hart of Dixie, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Hill Street Blues.

Born to a family with a strong connection to the media, Pierpoint is the son of former CBS White House reporter, Robert Pierpoint. He graduated from Walt Whitman High School in 1969, before going on to earn his Bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands in 1973 and his MFA from The Catholic University of America.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Pierpoint is also a published author, having written a children's novel titled The Last Ride of Caleb O'Toole, which received the 2013 Reading the West Book Award.
