A skilled pilot, Maj. Pete Sandidge, returns from World War II, where he's had a string of good luck. He's also got a beautiful girlfriend, Dorinda Durston, a qualified pilot who transports planes to different bases. When Pete is killed, he goes to heaven and learns that every pilot has a guardian angel. He then returns to Earth, unseen, to coach a pilot-in-training, Ted Randall.
