In this thought-provoking film, the story unfolds through four distinct segments. The first segment introduces a bigot who harbors hatred towards Jews, Blacks, and Asians, only to face the consequences of his prejudices in the midst of World War II, the Vietnam War, and other tumultuous periods. The second segment takes a more optimistic turn, as the residents of a nursing home discover that their minds have the power to keep them youthful. The third segment follows a traveler who accidentally hits a boy on a bicycle and brings him home, only to learn that the boy possesses extraordinary abilities. Finally, the fourth segment revolves around a writer who overcomes his fear of flying, only to confront a terrifying creature that threatens the safety of the airplane during a stormy night.
