A young ghost named Humphrey and his family, the Craggyfords, are forced to flee their home after being ousted. As they search for a new place to haunt, they realize they're not alone, as other ghosts from around the world are facing similar struggles. With their traditional haunting grounds being destroyed and turned into shopping centers, Humphrey decides to take matters into his own hands and lead the charge to save his family and the ghostly community by using his scaring skills to fight back.
