Leatherheads

A romantic comedy set in 1925, during America's early pro-football league. The story follows Dodge Connelly, a charming football hero, as he tries to save his team from collapse. He convinces a college star, Carter Rutherford, to join the team, but Lexie Littleton, a feisty journalist, suspects Carter's war hero story is fabricated. As teammates, they both vie for Lexie's affections, while Dodge fights to keep his team together and achieve his own romantic goals.
