David de Vries is a multifaceted individual with a rich background in the entertainment industry.

Born in upstate New York, David's early life was marked by his mother's academic pursuits as a professor of German Language and Literature at Randolph-Macon Women's College, where she later became the Dean until her retirement.

David's passion for acting led him to study at Carnegie-Mellon University as a teenager, and he went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts from American University in Washington D.C.

Following his graduation, David quickly established himself as a rising voice talent in the advertising world, featuring in numerous large-scale campaigns for prominent brands such as Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut, IBM, and Delta Airlines.

In addition to his work in advertising, David has made appearances in various TV movies and feature films, including "A Time to Triumph" (1986),"Mayflower Madam" (1987),"King Kong Lives" (1986),and "Remember the Titans" (2000).

David's stage career has been equally impressive, with notable roles in the Canadian production of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" (1996),where he played the iconic character Lumiere, and in the Broadway companies of "Wicked" (2007).

As an award-winning audiobook narrator, David has recorded over 200 titles, ranging from Caldecott-winning children's books to classics by authors such as Melville, Hegel, Norman Mailer, and Joseph Campbell.

David holds a Master's degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University and is a proud father to his son, Willem, born in 1998.
