Jimmy McGee, stranded on the road, gets a ride from Missy Lofton in her Cadillac and stays at her house in the small town of Lost Junction, Mississippi, while his car is repaired. Missy asks Jimmy to help her with a task and they travel to New Orleans, where she reveals her husband's body is in the trunk.
