Norm Berketa, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada, in the warm summer months of August 1963. As he grew up, his fascination with the entertainment industry only intensified, leading him to pursue a career in music. He began by honing his skills as a drummer and guitarist, initially playing with bands such as Al's Garage and Silent Q. The latter, Silent Q, proved to be a significant stepping stone, as the band's successful summer led to a rebranding, and The Initiatives were born. However, Norm's creative endeavors didn't stop there. He embarked on a solo music journey, investing in analog recording equipment and building a state-of-the-art analog studio. To date, he has an impressive catalog of over 300 original songs to his name, and he has since converted his studio to digital. After eight years of retail management, Norm made the bold decision to leave the corporate world behind and pursue his passion for the performing arts. He began by taking on dinner theatre and radio roles in Ottawa, and his talents soon caught the attention of television producers. In August 1998, Norm secured his first TV role, marking the beginning of a successful acting career that has spanned numerous years.
