Irish tennis pro Chris Wilton is struggling financially after retiring from the sport. He takes a job as a tennis instructor at an upscale London club and befriends a wealthy student, Tom Hewett. Chris starts dating Tom's sister, Chloe, and through her businessman father, secures an executive job. However, he becomes infatuated with Tom's unofficial fiancée, Nola Rice, a vivacious American actress. Chris must choose between his life with the Hewetts and his passion for Nola.
