Counter-Attack background

Counter-Attack

In the midst of World War II, a group of German and Soviet soldiers, former adversaries, find themselves seeking shelter together in a crumbling Russian basement, sparking a tense standoff.

A drama unfolds in a bombed out factory cellar where a Red Army officer, a Russian woman, and seven German soldiers are trapped. The two Russians try to keep the Germans at bay, while the officer and a German officer engage in a game of cat and mouse, seeking to extract information from each other. As time passes, tension builds, especially when the Soviet officer falls asleep.
