Zac King, a visionary with a profound affinity for the macabre and unsettling ambiance of horror, embarked on his journey in 2014 by joining Bizarro's Factory of Fear haunted attraction under the guidance of his mentor, Calvin Cox. During his tenure, King honed his skills in prop and set design, as well as the "art of the scare" while assuming the role of "Pigman," the main character.
In 2019, King seized the opportunity to purchase the attraction and reinvigorated it with a renewed focus on storytelling and realism. However, a devastating fire in 2020 forced him to pivot and concentrate solely on filmmaking. King's directorial efforts yielded a series of acclaimed shorts, including "Room 134," "The Reaper," and "Prom of the Dead." His feature film debut, "Jim's Room," premiered in 2021.
Beyond his fascination with horror, King's passion for entertainment extends to other genres. In 2020, he co-created "SchmucksTV," a comedy web series in collaboration with frequent partner Michael Masurkevitch. This innovative project features the duo engaging in a range of unusual activities, such as a hot dog eating contest crossed with a professional wrestling match, as well as participating in stunts inspired by Jackass.
