Born in Japan, Yurié heeded an intuitive calling to relocate to the United States at the tender age of 18 to pursue a career in acting. This bold decision led her to enroll in Emerson College's esteemed Acting program, where she developed a profound passion for performing.
Subsequently, Yurié made the move to New York City, driven by her unwavering dedication to realizing her aspirations in the realms of Theatre, Television, and Film. Throughout her tenure in the city that never sleeps, she has had the privilege of sharing the stage with esteemed companies such as The Flea Theatre, 600 Highwaymen, and Berkeley Rep, as well as captivating audiences with her on-screen presence in notable TV shows like Bull (CBS),Gotham (FOX),and Orange is the New Black (Netflix).
In addition to her impressive repertoire in the entertainment industry, Yurié is also an accomplished storyteller. Her original short film, #SPONSORED, a thought-provoking dystopian thriller that delves into the lives of social media influencers in a climate-ravaged world, is currently in post-production, slated for release in January 2021.
