Andrew, a renowned British music video director, has received widespread acclaim for his work, earning him the title of "one of the greatest ever British music video directors" from the BFI. To date, his music films have garnered over 250 million hits worldwide.
Andrew's journey began with the opportunity to study with the esteemed Polish master, Krzysztof Kieslowski. He then went on to direct the cult classic, "Weekender," a groundbreaking and controversial film that explored the 1990s dance and drug culture.
Known for his provocative and sensual style, Andrew's work has earned numerous awards and accolades, including the coveted MVA Icon honor, placing him alongside esteemed directors such as Anton Corbijn and Jonathan Glazer. He has a remarkable ability to elicit defiant performances from his cast, weaving them into highly visual narratives with technical precision and resonant subject matter.
Andrew's innovative use of technology is unparalleled, and his pioneering work in CGI and motion capture was hailed as "unquestionably visionary and revolutionary" by the legendary David Bowie. He has collaborated with some of the most respected and challenging artists of our time, including actors Michael Fassbender, Rosario Dawson, Ben Whishaw, Stephen Graham, Noel Fielding, and artists Alexander McQueen, David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, Massive Attack, Oasis, Chemical Brothers, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal, Emeli Sandé, Disclosure, Richard Fearless, and Will Young.
In addition to his work in music videos, Andrew has also ventured into television, directing the BBC period drama, "The Young Victorians." He is a practicing actor and has recently directed a theatre play, "Tainted Love," which won the New Venture Theatre's best play award.
Andrew is currently developing two feature films: a Virtual Reality shamanic drama and a contemporary erotic thriller starring Ben Whishaw. He resides in Brighton, UK.
