William Tepper, also known as Billy Tepper, was born in The Bronx and went on to study filmmaking at UCLA Film School, where his first film, Evidence Of Tradition, was voted Best Film of the Year.
After graduating from film school, Tepper began his Hollywood career at the age of 20, when his first screenplay won the prestigious Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award.
