Wesley Johnson, a multifaceted talent, was born in Arlington, Virginia, and hails from a rich artistic lineage, having studied under the esteemed George Robert Allen. He is a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Kim Barrett, and a proud father of three boys.
Wes's journey in the entertainment industry began with a strong foundation in stand-up comedy, improvisation, and sketch comedy. He has since expanded his repertoire to include work in radio, television, film, and video games. His impressive resume boasts a stint as the last co-host to the legendary Wolfman Jack, where he wrote and performed sketch comedy on the radio icon's live weekly program for two years.
As a prolific writer and performer, Wes has crafted numerous parody songs for radio, some of which have gained national recognition on The Doctor Demento Show. He has also hosted morning radio programs on WHFS FM and WXTR FM in Washington, DC.
Wes's creative prowess extends to his work with the Washington-based comedy troupe Gross National Product, where he honed his skills in political parody. His own DC-based troupe, Fresh Victims, has earned him critical acclaim, with The Washington Post praising his "alarmingly acute impressions" and calling him "an endless font of inventive energy." Washingtonian Magazine has also lauded his work, noting that "Johnson suggests the spirit of John Belushi inhabiting the frame of Jackie Gleason."
In addition to his extensive work in radio and television, Wes is a frequently heard voice in various video games, including The Elder Scroll series, Fallout Series, and Star Trek: Legacy for Bethesda Softworks. His most recent venture saw him voice a Mag'Har Orc Noble in World of Warcraft.

Beyond his work in entertainment, Wes has also made a name for himself as a sports announcer, serving as the last PA Announcer for the Washington Bullets, the first PA Announcer for the Washington Wizards, and the arena voice of the Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals since 2000. He has also been the PA Announcer for the WTT pro tennis team the Washington Kastles.
