Biography

Wendy-Anne Daloz is a bilingual French actress and model, born in Bordeaux, France, to Jean-Pascal Daloz, an author and former research professor at the University of Oxford, and Lesley Daloz, a bilingual manager. Her mother, born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, of Scottish heritage, and her father, of French descent, instilled a love for the arts in Wendy-Anne from a young age.

At the age of six, Wendy-Anne's father introduced her to The Fellowship of the Rings, sparking her passion for acting. She moved to Oxfordshire at ten, where she attended the European School in Oxford and began performing in British theater. Her parents divorced when she was fourteen, and she relocated to Strasbourg, where she continued her education at the European School of Strasbourg.

Wendy-Anne's bilingualism was a significant factor in her decision to switch to the English section of her school at fifteen. She made her second television appearance at sixteen, working for the Council of Europe on the short film "Beat Bullying," in which she acted and provided voiceovers in both English and French.

In 2015, Wendy-Anne graduated from the European School of Strasbourg with a European Baccalaureate at the European Parliament. At eighteen, she wrote to Kenneth Branagh, seeking his advice, and he encouraged her to pursue her passion for acting. She began auditioning in London while studying in the UK and France, earning a bachelor's degree in English and taking courses at the National Youth Theater.

Wendy-Anne moved to London full-time in 2018, where she worked for the British Council and continued to audition intensively. She took a polishing course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and joined the Impulse Company to study acting, graduating in May 2021.

After two years of coaching and working as a French translator and supervisor, Wendy-Anne was accepted into drama school in 2021. She was elected student representative for her year and graduated from Drama Studio London in July 2022. Her first professional job was starring in composer Steve Hackett's music video Fauna.
