Walter Nudo was born on June 2, 1970, in Montreal, Canada, to immigrant parents. He grew up on the outskirts of the city, facing the challenges of assimilation. At the age of 10, he moved to Genoa, Italy, with his family.
In 1994, he received a call to appear on the "Maurizio Costanzo Show," which led to regular guest appearances and marked the beginning of his TV and film career in Italy.
Two years later, a dinner conversation sparked his interest in boxing, and he began training. He fought 10 matches in the Heavyweight and Superheavyweight categories, winning regional and interregional championships. During this time, his first child, Elvis, was born.
However, his boxing career was put on hold when he was called to host a TV program, "Love at First Sight," which ran for two years. The show was a hit, and his second son, Martin, was born.
After the show ended, Walter went through a crisis, feeling unfulfilled. He returned to boxing, but a head injury forced him to stop. He then began working as a sales representative for natural products, including Aloe vera, during a difficult period in his life.
Walter later attended the "Duse" in Rome and the "International Acting School" of Dominique De Fazio, studying under Francesca De Sapio and the Strasberg method.
In 2002, he participated in the New York Marathon, finishing in 3 hours and 52 minutes despite a fall that injured three tendons in his left foot. This experience gave him a new sense of self-esteem and helped him get back on track.
In 2003, Walter received a call to participate in the Italian version of "Survivor VIP," which aired for the first time in Italy. He won the competition, overcoming obstacles and losing 18 kilograms, and was proclaimed the winner with almost 90% of the popular votes.
The experience earned him the public's affection, and he became an example and role model for many people. He then landed the lead role in the TV program "The Enchantment," playing the character Antonio Corradi for two years.
After the show ended, Walter decided to take a break and travel to the island of Elba on foot, a 16-hour journey. He later participated in the Treviso Marathon, a charity event, despite the doctors' warnings that he was not in condition to run.
Walter has also pursued his passion for music, performing with his band and singing in clubs and squares in Italy and Europe. He has also been involved in various charity projects, including a trip to Arizona and a motorcycle ride across the U.S.A.
