Vincent Walsh, a renowned Irish actor, was born in Dublin and spent his childhood in Montreal, laying the foundation for his extensive international career. Walsh's impressive resume boasts a range of notable performances, from his early days on stage to his breakout roles in film. He made his stage debut in Neil Labute's 4-hander play, Shape of Things, at The Gate Theatre, where he had the opportunity to act alongside the talented Cillian Murphy.
Walsh's first feature film appearance was in Man Of No Importance, starring the esteemed Albert Finney. He has since gone on to receive two Gemini nominations for his outstanding performances in the productions "Halifax Explosion" and "The Good Times Are Killing Me". In "Halifax Explosion", he had the honor of working alongside Graham Greene, known for his iconic role in Dances With Wolves, and Pete Postlethwaite, a renowned actor from In The Name Of The Father. Similarly, in "The Good Times Are Killing Me", he shared the screen with Kelly Rowan, star of The OC, and Rupert Graves, known for his role in Sherlock.
Currently, Walsh can be seen in Michael Hirst's new series, Billy The Kid season 1, which premiered on MGM/Paramount Plus/Amazon Channel. He plays the recurring role of Lawrence G Murphy and is set to return for season 2, which is expected to air in 2024.
