Vaughn, a performer with a flair for drama and a passion for the spotlight, was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, but has roots in Brooklyn, New York. His early experiences on stage, starting with a talent show in his elementary school, ignited a fire within him to pursue a career in the performing arts.
As he grew older, Vaughn began to cultivate his talents in local community plays, laying the groundwork for his future success. After moving to Los Angeles following high school, he joined the esteemed Groundlings Sketch Comedy School, where he honed his craft alongside some of the best in the business.
Vaughn's thirst for knowledge and dedication to his craft led him to further his education at the prestigious Baron & Brown studios, where he studied the Meisner technique, and The Imagined Life studio. During his time at these esteemed institutions, he received valuable career advice from a range of celebrities, including Mike Epps, Angela Bassett, Adam Sandler, Taye Diggs, Larry B. Scott, Magic Johnson, Sherri Shepherd, Halle Berry, and Tom Hanks.
Throughout his career, Vaughn has accumulated an impressive array of television credits, including appearances on 90210, Guilt By Association, Murder in the First, Nicky Rickey Dickey & Dawn, America's Most Wanted, Disaster Date, and Rizzoli & Isles. He has also made numerous national commercial appearances, starring in campaigns for Fed Ex, Red Robin, Wells Fargo, and Spike TV.
Most recently, Vaughn starred in the award-winning independent film Against the Grain, a testament to his versatility and range as a performer. His other film credits include the award-winning Straight Outta Compton, the romantic comedy Some Kind Of Beautiful starring Jessica Alba and Selma Hayek, and the action-packed Hollywood Chaos starring Vanessa Simmons and Tyler Leply.
