Valmike Charmandoo's impressive acting career has earned him numerous accolades and nominations. He was nominated for BEST ACTOR at the prestigious London's Unrestricted View Film Festival and The New Renaissance Film Festival for his outstanding performance in the award-winning domestic violence film 'Padlock'.
This talented actor took on the lead role in the award-winning Hollywood feature film 'Bazodee', directed by six-time Emmy nominee Todd Kessler. The film received its red carpet premiere in Times Square, New York, and was subsequently released nationwide in the U.S. and Canada at Odeon cinemas.
Recently, Valmike portrayed the character 'Callum' in the new D.C. Comics / Netflix series 'The Sandman', which was filmed at Shepperton studios.
Valmike holds a distinction from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, England. Throughout his career, he has acted in numerous award-winning films, including playing an assassin and the son of BAFTA nominee Art Malik in 'Hotel', a semi-finalist at the Academy Awards and winner of Best Drama at the L.A. International Festival.
He has also appeared in several other Hollywood features, including 'The Exquisite Continent' directed by Emmy Nominated Director Stephen Gyllenhaal ('Losing Isaiah') and 'Radio Mary' directed by Sundance award-winning director Gary Walkow.
In addition to his film work, Valmike has had a successful television career. He played 'Dr Ramzan' in Eastenders opposite Letitia Dean and Adam Woodyatt, and was the lead in 125 episodes of SKY TV British drama series 'Cloud 9', which also aired on Virgin TV and Zee. He starred in Brit Indie feature 'Meet Pursuit Delange' alongside Jason Flemyng, Colin Salmon, and Peter Bowles.
