Valentin Zubkov, a renowned actor, entered this world on May 12, 1923, in the picturesque village of Peschanoye, situated within the boundaries of the Ryazan Governorate, a region that was then part of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, commonly referred to as the RSFSR, which was, in turn, a constituent republic of the Soviet Union, now affectionately known as the USSR.
