Noted songwriter, composer, producer, screenwriter, and author, with educational roots at the prestigious Oundle School. During World War I, he had the distinguished honor of producing the Royal Air Force concert party, "The Stunters", showcasing his exceptional talent. His impressive portfolio also includes writing musical revues for the renowned C.B. Cochran. Furthermore, his notable work in radio scriptwriting includes the popular "Henry Aldrich" series. In 1921, he joined the esteemed organization, ASCAP, and went on to collaborate musically with the talented Will Jason. His extensive catalog of song compositions boasts numerous hits, including "The Big Bad Wolf Is Dead", "Waiting for the Springtime", "You Alone", "The Day I Met You", "If It Isn't Love", "Some Day Soon", and "Singing a Vagabond Song".
