Biography

Trey Wilson, a talented character actor from Houston, Texas, left an indelible mark on the film industry, particularly in his portrayal of rural, authoritarian figures, often in comedic roles. His career was gaining momentum in feature films when, tragically, he succumbed to a cerebral hemorrhage just days shy of his 41st birthday.

Wilson's most iconic role is perhaps that of Nathan Arizona, a fast-talking, furniture store mogul, in the offbeat comedy Raising Arizona (1987). He also delivered memorable performances as Beetroot McKinley, a shifty corporate crook, in Twins (1988),and as Joe Riggins, a quirky manager, in the beloved baseball romance Bull Durham (1988).
