Biography

Tony Crookes, a talented individual, was born in Ossett, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, UK. He is the eldest of three brothers, with Jason being his eldest sibling and John and Ben being the younger ones. Tony has a loving family, and he is a proud father of two children, Rhys and Poppy.

From an early age, Tony was fascinated by the world of film and television. He studied media and drama in school, but it wasn't until 2011 that he took his first step into the film industry, playing the role of a future cop in the film "Diamond Jack". This was followed by a more prominent role as an office boss in the feature film "New Beginnings".

In 2012, Tony starred in the successful zombie feature film "The Eschatrilogy", which won an award for the best zombie film of the year. He then worked on the film "The Wraith" alongside Terri Dwyer, playing the role of a tramp. In 2013, Tony starred in "Green Street 3 Underground", playing a football hooligan alongside Hollywood actor Scott Adkins.

In 2014, Tony filmed "Walking on Sunshine" alongside Leona Lewis, which is set to be released in cinemas. He has also recently finished filming the TV series "Crimes that shook Britain" and "Crimes that shook Austria". Additionally, Tony has appeared in several TV adverts, including one for Holland and Barrett, where he played a shopper, and another for Genting Casino, where he played a customer.

Tony began training in martial arts at the age of 10 and was taught by Master Shabir Akhtar, a renowned figure in the martial arts circle. Shabir Akhtar was the first person in the country to have won both the ITF and WTF heavyweight titles. Tony's parents opened a martial arts school in his hometown of Ossett in 1995, and Tony soon took up teaching within the family business. He achieved his black belt at the age of 14 and still works as a martial arts instructor to this day.

Tony loves being an inspiration to his students, as well as training and learning a range of martial arts and weapons. He took his 3rd Dan in Tae Kwon Do in 2013.
