Tom was born in the vibrant city of Key West, Florida, and spent his formative years growing up in the picturesque Florida Keys. As a young boy, he began his acting journey at the tender age of nine and has since appeared in an astonishing nearly 200 plays.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tom has had the privilege of taking on a wide range of roles, including Dracula, The Fantastics, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Oklahoma, Man of La Mancha, Dial M for Murder, The Seven Year Itch, Damn Yankees, The Graduate, and Neil Simon's Rumors, to name just a few.
During his college years in Miami, Florida, Tom gained valuable experience as an extra in several films, including Darker Than Amber and The Aquaknots, both of which were shot at the Ivan Tors Studios in North Miami.
In addition to his acting credits, Tom has also ventured into the world of filmmaking, making his debut as a writer, director, and producer with The Barrington Oak in 1978. He then spent the next decade honing his skills in the fast-paced world of TV news, first working as a cameraman for CNN and later as a cameraman and editor for WCSH-TV in Portland, Maine.
In 1996, Tom made the move to Hollywood, where he has since completed an impressive 20 films, produced five, and written 16 screenplays. He has had the pleasure of sharing the screen with a diverse range of talented actors, including Timothy Bottoms, Maureen McCormick, Edward Albert, LeLe Sobiski, Timmothy Hutton, and Christopher Atkins, with whom he has worked on four separate occasions.
Today, Tom is a 45-year resident of New Hampshire, where he lives with his wife and four feline companions. He has been an active member of the New Hampshire Film Commission for four years and served as its chairman for two years.
