Tom McKitterick, a multifaceted individual, was born on December 20, 1956. Initially, he pursued a career in acting, earning recognition for his role in the 1979 film The Warriors.
Following his stint in The Warriors and a brief period of stage work, McKitterick opted to leave the entertainment industry in 1981. He redirected his passion towards photojournalism, joining the esteemed agency Impact Visuals in New York. As a photojournalist, he covered a wide range of topics, including news and sports, with a particular affinity for tennis.
Over the course of a decade, McKitterick had the privilege of capturing iconic moments at grand slams, the Masters, and Davis Cup tournaments. His remarkable journey as a photojournalist spanned twenty years, during which he successfully covered various news stories and sports events.
After two decades in the photojournalism world, McKitterick made a triumphant return to the entertainment industry, this time focusing on theater. He is currently producing Period Of Adjustment, a play penned by the renowned Tennessee Williams, in collaboration with the Almeida Theatre in London. McKitterick's ultimate goal is to bring this production to the esteemed stages of Broadway, with a tentative target date of fall 2006.
