Todd Hunter, a childhood outsider from a traditional upbringing, now crafts bold, dramatic stories that amplify the voices of marginalized individuals or peculiar protagonists. Following a 15-year stint as an actor and stunt performer, Hunter transitioned to the other side of the camera, where he experiences fewer instances of head-banging. With a successful track record as a short film producer, he honed his skills in Screenwriting and Producing at UCLA Extension and Script Anatomy, under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as Marc Cherry and Gary Lennon.
In addition to his filmmaking pursuits, Hunter is a lifelong practitioner of martial arts, and he also teaches self-defense classes for the City of West Hollywood. Notably, his time is significantly occupied by his endearing terrier rescue, Pip, who has captured his heart.
