Todd Alcott, a multifaceted creative force, was born on October 22, 1961, in Crystal Lake, Illinois. His father, Royal Gilbert Alcott, was a commercials producer, and his mother, Ann Hirtman, was a dedicated 3rd grade teacher.
As a prolific writer for both stage and screen, Alcott's impressive film credits include Antz, Curtain Call, Just Your Luck, and numerous other notable works. In 2008, he co-directed and wrote the film The Bentfootes, featuring a talented cast that included Nina Hellman and James Urbaniak.
In addition to his work in film, Alcott is also a skilled writer and maintains a popular blog focused on dissecting film and television writing, aptly titled "What Does The Protagonist Want?".
Todd Alcott has been married to Sara Gaffney since June 1998, and currently resides in Santa Monica, California.
