Teda Marie Bracci, a wild, lanky, and vivacious brunette actress and singer, was born on September 30, 1946. Growing up in Los Angeles, California, she attended Woodside High School in Woodside, California.
Bracci's early career was marked by her involvement in the original Los Angeles stage production of the hippie counterculture musical "Hair", where she played the role of Jeanie. She quickly became a popular fixture on the L.A. Sunset Strip rock music scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s, headlining at famous clubs such as The Troubadour and the Whisky-A-Go-Go.
In addition to her music career, Bracci also acted in a handful of films and TV shows, often being cast as extremely brash, sassy, and uninhibited characters. Some of her most memorable movie roles include loopy motorcycle mama Pig in "C.C. and Company", raucous prison inmate Bull Jones in the hugely enjoyable chicks-in-chains cult classic "The Big Bird Cage", and obnoxious interloper Rita in the gloriously sleazy drive-in exploitation gem "The Centerfold Girls".
More recently, Bracci released a CD of her music called "The Lost Tapes". She continues to perform at local clubs in Los Angeles, where she resides.
