Taysha Fuller, a North American Native with a rich cultural heritage, was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and grew up on the Six Nations Reservation. Her mother, a proud member of the Cayuga Nation Wolf Clan, and her father, a respected member of the Mohawk Nation Turtle Clan, instilled in her a deep appreciation for her Native roots.
From a young age, Taysha's passion for the performing arts was evident. She attended Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts College in Toronto, Ontario, where she honed her skills in various dance styles, including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and HipHop. Her hard work and dedication paid off as she went on to win numerous national dance championships in both the United States and Canada.
Taysha's training extended beyond dance, as she also worked with renowned acting coaches in both Toronto and Los Angeles. Her early start in the film industry began when she made her first film at the tender age of eight. Since then, she has appeared in a variety of television shows, films, and radio productions.
One of her most notable roles was as Jessica Martello on the popular television show Degrassi the Next Generation, where she appeared in seasons 10 and 11. Taysha's impressive filmography also includes two films that premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. In 2004, she starred in "Prayer For A Good Day," and in 2015, she had a principal role in "Songs My Brothers Taught Me," which also screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
